HERRIMAN — A 4-year-old boy is in serious condition after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment in Herriman Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The boy was leaning on the screen of a window at the Copperwood Apartments at 5719 W. Plow Lane when the screen fell through, according to the Unified Police Department. The child fell out the window and onto an air conditioning unit below.
The child was able to speak to emergency responders when they arrived but was flown in a medical helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital.
There was no update on the child's condition as of late Tuesday night.
