SALT LAKE CITY — Summer usually starts with lots of fun in the sun, then often turns into lounging on the couch during the later months. Luckily, there are several easy ways to have fun as a family this summer, while also making a difference in the community.
Regal Summer Movie Express
If you have a Regal movie theater close to you, take advantage of their cheap summer movies. They are playing a variety of family-friendly movies every Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the summer for only $1, and even better, a portion of each admission will go to the Will Rogers Institute.
TRAK Challenge (Team Random Acts of Kindness Challenge)
The TRAK Challenge is a team kindness scavenger hunt that you can do anywhere in the world. For each act of kindness that you complete and post about on social media, you will earn points. The challenge ends July 28 and prizes will be awarded to the team with the most points.
Each team will also have the opportunity to raise money for Operation Underground Railroad to help fight human trafficking.
