EMERY — A Colorado man died in a rollover crash in Emery County Tuesday afternoon.
Around 1:30 p.m., a black Hyundai SUV was westbound on I-70, approximately 10 miles west of Green River, when the vehicle went off the left side of the highway, Utah Highway Patrol officials said. The vehicle came back onto the interstate and began to roll.
The Hyundai rolled approximately four times before coming to rest on its top, UHP officials said.
An adult female driver, adult male passenger, and two small children were in the vehicle. The man was killed in the crash, and the other occupants were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, in stable condition, officials said.
The identity of the victim was not released Tuesday. The family is from Colorado, UHP officials said.
All occupants in the vehicle were properly restrained and impairment does not appear to be a factor, officials added.
