WEST VALLEY CITY — Reports of a woman abducted in West Valley City Tuesday afternoon are not 'credible,' police say.

VECC dispatch initially reported that a vehicle drove off after someone inside forced a woman into the car near 6948 W. Kings Estate Dr.

West Valley police spokeswoman Roxeanne Vainuku says these reports are not 'credible' and investigators are looking at this as a domestic dispute.

Vainuku said authorities are still unsure of the relationship of those involved and whether the woman is in danger.

A description of the vehicle and those involved was not immediately made available.
