Police find missing Layton man with autism

LAYTON — Police found a 24-year-old Layton man with autism who went missing early Monday morning.

Daniel Recksiek was last seen at his home on Valley View Drive around 7 a.m., according to the Layton City Police Department. He was not dressed for the weather and had not taken his medication, police said.

Recksiek was found and reunited safely with his family around 4:15 p.m.

The details surrounding his whereabouts when he was found were not immediately made available.
