SOUTH JORDAN — Lanes were reopened Wednesday afternoon after a crash on Bangerter Highway near 11400 South disrupted rush hour traffic in South Jordan.
Southbound, eastbound and westbound lanes were all closed but had been reopened as of 6 p.m. Wednesday, South Jordan police Sgt. Sam Winkler said.
At about 3:30 p.m., a vehicle traveling west was stuck in the intersection due to backed up traffic, Winkler said. A car heading south didn't see the vehicle stopped at the intersection and crashed into it.
There were only minor injuries after the crash. One person was taken to a hospital, and several were treated at the scene, but all were released in good condition, Winkler said.
Note: A previous version of this article said the crash involved a rollover, but no vehicles rolled in the crash.
