SALT LAKE CITY — If you weren't around the Wasatch Front Sunday, you missed a fog more fit for a horror film than for Utah.
The dense fog began rolling across the region Sunday afternoon, blanketing the Salt Lake Valley, reducing visibility on roads and causing flight cancellations. The unusual weather was captured on camera by several Utahns, including John Stinnett, who sent us this time-lapse video taken from above North Ogden.
The fog also created an eerie scene in downtown Salt Lake City, captured here by KSL.com's Carter Williams. According to Williams, visibility in the area was so low it was difficult to see the Salt Lake City Temple while standing on a platform just 400 feet away.
