SALT LAKE CITY — There is something about the innocence of childhood. The smiles, laughter and a world full of possibilities.

For 14-year-old Ammon and 16-year-old Sarah, theirs is an innocence that will remain throughout their lives. They are both severely autistic and need a lot of care.

When their biological parents gave up their rights, Ammon and Sarah entered foster care.

Their foster-mother is Sherri Holt. She said there are challenges that come with raising the two teens.

"It's a lot of work," said Holt with a chuckle.

But she also says the rewards make it all worth it.

"You just love them so much," Holt said. "I mean, how can you not fall so in love with them? You love them as much as your own kids."

Ammon and Sarah deserve a chance to be a part of a family permanently.

"I want somebody to feel the same about them as I do," Holt said.
