SALT LAKE CITY — Now that Thanksgiving is officially in the past, even the grumpiest Grinch can agree the Christmas season has arrived!
And with it, all the lights! If you missed the lighting ceremony at Temple Square Friday evening, KSL.com's Carter Williams captured photos and videos of the event. We also have more photos of Christmas lights around Salt Lake as the city began to ring in the holiday season.
Along with Christmas lights, the season is bringing colder weather and dazzling sunrises. Monday's sunrise was one of the most colorful, with purples, pinks and oranges lighting up Utah's sky. Browse the gallery below to see.
We also received photos of the news happening throughout the week, including photos of a semitruck hauling cattle that rolled on the freeway near Riverdale. The crash resulted in several cows falling onto the freeway, and though no people were injured, freeway delays lasted several hours.
As December begins, be on the lookout for news happening or any spectacular Christmas decorations and lights and snap some photos for our future galleries.
