OGDEN — Police are investigating a shooting that left a man wounded near an Ogden park Sunday.

Police received a call from a woman reporting she had heard gunshots near Lorin Farr Park, 769 Canyon Road, about 1:50 p.m. Sunday, according to Ogden Police Lt. Clint Christensen.

Responding officers found an 18-year-old man with four gunshot wounds to his "lower extremities," Christensen said. The injuries were not life-threatening, he said.

The shooting victim was not cooperating with police, who have no suspects and no witnesses beyond the woman who heard the shots but was too far away to see anything, Christensen said.

The incident remains under investigation.
