SALT LAKE CITY — Three BYU fans swept the weekly awards for Week 11, while Utah State fans edged into the top spot for best overall fanbase.
BYU defeated UNLV 31-21, despite having lost their top two quarterbacks to injuries this season. Utah turned the ball over 7 times in a 33-25 home loss to Washington State, and Utah State had the week off.
In the other games this week, Miami trounced Notre Dame 41-8, Oklahoma beat TCU 38-20, and Auburn knocked off Georgia 40-17.
Overall, it was the third toughest week so far this season.
This week's overall winner is BYU fan Troy Gagon, who finished with 214 points. Rich Barton finished second with 204, and Wayne Dudley finished third with 200.
The weekly winners will receive a $100, $75, or $50, respectively, VISA gift card courtesy Robert J Debry.
As far as the fanbases go, BYU had the best overall week, finishing with a 18.8 points per game average. Utah State was second with 16, and Utah third with just 12. Overall, Utah State moves into the top fanbase with a season average of 21.7, while Utah slides into second with 21.4. BYU fans sit at 20.5.
