TAYLORSVILLE — An accident temporarily closed 2700 West in Taylorsville Wednesday morning and left one injured.

The accident occurred around 7 a.m. at 2700 West and 5400 South, the Utah Department of Transportation said in a tweet. Both lanes of 2700 West were closed for about an hour, as well as westbound right lanes of 5400 South. The lanes were reopened just before 8 a.m.

Unified Police Lt. Brian Lohrke said one person needed to be extricated, but there were no major injuries. Details of the accident and condition of the victim were not immediately released.
