WILLARD, Box Elder County — An Ohio man was found dead in a Willard garage Wednesday and another man was arrested a couple of hours later in Idaho for investigation of murder.

The body of Cody D. Henderson, 27, was found about 9 a.m. at 435 S. Main. Investigators believe he died due to blunt force trauma sometime early Wednesday morning.

Based on information collected at the scene, detectives "very quickly" developed a person of interest in the case, said Box Elder County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Dale Ward. About 11:45 a.m., it was announced that a man had been arrested in Idaho in connection with the death.

Chay Lance Blair, 25, who is the homeowner of the Willard residence where Henderson's body was found, was arrested in an undisclosed area of Idaho, Ward said.

A possible motive for the killing was not known Wednesday. The Willard City Police Department is the lead agency in the investigation, while the sheriff's office and Utah Department of Public Safety sent deputies to the scene as support.

Blair pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drug possession in 2016, but otherwise had no signficant criminal history in Utah, according to court records.
