SALT LAKE CITY — It was Jim Gaffigan who sagely said, “If it's so great outside, why are all the bugs trying to get inside my house?” And as much as we Utahns love the outdoors, we have to admit he has a point: We don’t appreciate enough the comfort and luxury of simply being indoors.

But as the weather cools and the trees turn those heavenly hues, our climate-control-accustomed selves yearn to be in nature. It is, after all, perfect sweater weather, right? Before you head out for some apple picking, corn maze wandering or leaf peeping, here are some ways you can bring the beauty of autumn inside your home — without ever having to leave.
