Incredible swing form impresses PGA pro
Steve Wheatcroft, a PGA Tour pro, was playing in a pro-am tournament affiliated with the Albertsons Boise Open when he saw this unique golf swing:
Wheatcroft says this golfer can hit it 200 plus yards with that form. And from the video, it looks like she's hitting it straight, too! Impressive stuff.
Easy joke to avoid
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles isn't exactly known for his accurate throwing arm. So when he told reporters about what he was up to after his internet was knocked out due to Hurricane Irma, people had jokes:
Indians' winning streak
The Cleveland Indians, remarkably, have won 21 straight games, tying an MLB record. They can set the record Thursday night against the Royals.
But back when the Indians were on a similar and shorter streak last year, the Oakland Athletics referenced their own 20-game streak, as famously featured in the book and movie Moneyball.
And now that the Indians have so many wins in a row that they've set a record, so many wins they can't fit all of the Ws in their Twitter name, they decided to point out that the streak had been busted.
To their credit, the A's social media team gave their counterparts props.
