SALT LAKE CITY — Happy August! July may have felt like it went by faster than you could blink, but Utahns were still able to capture photos of all the interesting things happening around them.

Our latest gallery includes photos sent in by KSL.com readers showing several different vehicle fires and car accidents throughout the week. More fire-related photos include shots of a brush fire near Traverse Ridge Road in Draper that was caused by a mouse getting stuck in a transformer box.

And finally, check out the photos submitted of Utah's scenery, including storms, and sun dogs and rainbows that lit up the hot summer sky. Be on the lookout this week for news happening and don't forget to submit your photos for our next gallery.
