MOUNTAIN GREEN, Morgan County — A Wyoming man was killed Tuesday night after losing control of his motorcycle, Utah Highway Patrol confirmed.
At about 7:30 p.m., a motorcyclist was heading westbound on I-84 near Weber Canyon when he attempted to light a cigarette, Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said. The man lost control, hit a barrier and was thrown from the motorcycle.
The man, later identified by UHP as 33-year-old Troy Levi Milam of Evanston, Wyoming, was pronounced dead at the scene. Royce said Milam was not wearing a helmet.
UHP said they are looking into impairment as a factor in the crash as well.
