Stranger pays for meals

Anonymous

“A group of us in uniform were sitting down to eat at a local restaurant prior to going out on military maneuvers. An anonymous patron covered the entire bill for all 20 of us! It was estimated to be over $400 after tax. I am constantly amazed at the generosity of strangers who understand that regardless of political party or candidate, the military member has no choice but to follow lawful orders and make the best of some horrible situations.”

Offering a generous discount

“My wife and I went camping Friday night. First, we stopped to get our fishing licenses. I asked the girl ringing us up if the cost was still $27, but she said it's $34. We said we needed two. When she rang us up, the total she told me was the price of one. I asked if that were just for one. She shook her head and said, ‘Nope, that's for both.’ Realizing she gave us a two-for-one, I smiled and said, ‘Thank you!’ She made our camping trip that much better!”
