SALT LAKE CITY — Three more highlights from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!
Two good passes
There's nothing better in sports than a good pass. So that's why I'm featuring these two videos in today's From Left Field.
The first is of UCLA point guard, and likely No. 2 overall pick in the NBA Draft, Lonzo Ball, making a pass through the doors of a moving car. Once you get past Lavar Ball's trademark goofiness, this is actually a pretty incredible feat:
The second great pass also takes place off the field of play. In this one, USC quarterback Sam Darnold throws a football to a wakeboarding teammate, who leaps and makes the catch in the water.

Impressive stuff!
Light-tower power
Eloy Jimenez, a prospect for the Chicago Cubs, can hit the ball a long way. This home run didn't just clear the fence, it also broke the lights for the field. Just like in The Natural.
Jimenez, sadly, didn't get to stop and admire his long ball.
