SALT LAKE CITY — KSL.com readers submitted photos from this week's news events they saw happening around Utah, including photos that show extensive damage following a large fire in Salt Lake City.
The fire engulfed two houses on 900 West between 100 South and 400 South, and large plumes of smoke were visible throughout downtown Salt Lake City. The photos below, captured by Jennifer Hemmert, show the scene as 65 firefighters worked to control the blaze.
We also received photos of beautiful sights across Utah as the weather gave us a taste of warmth before this week's expected winter storm. If you capture any photos of the spring snow this week, send them our way to be featured in our next gallery.
