WEST VALLEY CITY — A string of car fires that police consider suspicious caused an estimated $20,000 in damage early Sunday.
West Valley police reported they received a call at 6:15 a.m. about three car fires within a couple blocks of each other near 3075 S. 3825 West. All three vehicles were a total loss.
Police said they believe the fires are connected and they're being investigated as arson. The suspect also may have tried to light other vehicles on fire, police said.
No suspects were in custody Sunday.
