ROY — One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting Tuesday night, police confirmed.
The incident occurred at a Texaco gas station near 4400 South and 1900 West in Roy at around 10 p.m.
Police told KSL two Roy police officers responded to a report of trespassing. When the officers arrived, shots were fired and a man was killed. Both officers were unharmed.
Police did not disclose any further information on the incident, including who fired the shots or what led to the shooting.
Roy police tweeted late Tuesday on the incident, calling it an “officer-involved shooting.”
