WASHINGTON, Washington County — One man is dead and two others, including a child, are in critical condition following a mobile home fire in southern Utah.

Washington firefighters were called about 7 p.m. Monday to 434 E. Angie Lane. Upon arrival, they found the residence "fully engulfed" in flames, said Washington police spokesman Ed Kantor.

Inside, firefighters found a 60-year-old man, a 27-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl.

The woman and toddler were flown by medical helicopter from Dixie Regional Medical Center to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, both in critical condition, Kantor said.

The man was pronounced dead at Dixie Regional Medical Center. The names of the victims were not immediately released.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation Tuesday, Kantor said.

"The structure was completely destroyed as a result of the fire," he said.
