INSANITOWN — People often do some really incredible things— things that most of us would be too scared to ever try.
Something like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute, free diving hundreds of feet into the water, or eating a 20-piece chicken nugget with a Beto's burrito. I have had the courage to accomplish one of these feats, but I'm not telling you which one.
What I'm getting at is there are some people who look fear in the face, say, "Maybe next time, ya jerk," and then do something pretty amazing. This video is one of those moments.
Ryan Paul Robinson set up a slackline on a formation called Moai Tower off the southeast coast of Tasmania and walked across it. My heart was pounding worse than after "that guy" ate all those nuggets and carne asada burrito, and my hands were sweaty as I watched Robinson make the trek across the void.
It was a lot to ask just to muster the courage to watch the video, so I can't imagine what it took to actually complete the walk.
Check out this impressive video that has been nominated for a GoPro award.
