SALT LAKE CITY— Food lovers in Utah will be able to sample meals at a discounted price at various restaurants during the 13th annual Dine O'Round.
For two weeks, starting Friday, Sept. 9, Dine O’Round will feature 45 of downtown Salt Lake City’s restaurants and give diners the opportunity to try new dishes at a variety of locations.
Dine O’Round attendees will be able to choose a three-item dinner for either $15 or $35, depending on the regular cost of the entrees, according to Downtown Alliance.
In addition to the dinner specials, two-item lunch meals will be available for either $5 or $10.
Sampling multiple food items at a reduced price allows diners to sample a wider selection of tastes than they normally would, which will allow people to try a restaurant they have never dined at before, according to Downtown Alliance.
“Dine O’Round is important to encourage diners to try a new restaurant or return to an old favorite during the 17 delicious days of the event,” said Nick Como, communication director for the Downtown Alliance.
Diners will be automatically entered to “win dinner for a year” when they post a photo to Instagram using the hashtag #DineORound and tagging @downtownslc.
To take part in Dine O’Round, diners should simply ask for the Dine O’Round menu from their server. However, they are not limited to just the special menu, according to the press release. Diners can add on additional appetizers or drinks to sample additional flavors.
