SALT LAKE CITY — In college, Jimmer Fredette was one of the most entertaining acts to watch, particularly his senior season where he repeatedly hit deep shots and scored at will from behind the arc.

Jimmer was the college version of what Steph Curry has now become in the NBA. BYU fans and others around the nation were caught up in #Jimmermania. Songs were created about him, children were named after him, and there was nothing more encompassing in the state of college basketball at the time.

However, it’s been more than five years since his college hype and now Jimmer is being called boring.

Boring because his tweets are bland, or at least that’s what “Cougars on Cougars” is saying. Let’s look at some examples:

Here’s the video of Jimmer refuting the boring claims:

I’m the MVP, y’all!

Steph Curry is the first unanimous MVP in NBA history. He’s won the award two years in a row. He also rallied the Warriors to a Game 2 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night, scoring 15 points in a two-minute assault in the third quarter.

Although the league’s most valuable player, and certainly a vital asset to the Warriors’ championship hopes, the crowd at Oracle Arena failed to see his glory.

In the first quarter, Curry gave 110 percent to grab a loose ball, diving into the first few rows of the crowd. The crowd, though, was taken off guard and failed to help him stay up. One fan even jumped to the occasion and snapped a photo of Curry in distress:

Fortunately, Curry was fine, save an elbow injury, after hitting a metal platform in the stands. However, I’m sure his coach and all of Dub Nation would appreciate it if their MVP took off plays like that in the future.

“The elbow’s fine,” Curry said after the game. “It looks like it has a tennis ball on top of it, but it doesn’t affect range of motion or anything. There’s just some pain, so I’ll be all right.”
