STANSBURY PARK — Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a local pharmacy on Saturday afternoon.

The suspect walked into Birch’s Pharmacy located inside Soelberg’s grocery store in the Stansbury community at around noon. The suspect presented the pharmacist with a note of medications he wanted and then showed the pharmacist a gun in his waistband, according to the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s, dark hair, approximately 5-foot-10 and weighing 150 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black cap, black zip hoodie with a white skull and cross design on the back, blue jeans and tan-colored shoes. The man wore black-rimmed glasses and had a round bandage on his nose, according to police.

Police say the suspect may have driven off in a black Chevrolet S10 pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tooele County Sheriff’s Office at 435-882-5600.
