OGDEN — Three fun stories from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!
1. Damian Lillard represents Ogden
Sure, you know that NBA and Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard attended college in Utah at Weber State University. But did you know that he's still representing the city, Ogden, where he lived during that time?
Well, he is.

2. Ball boy slips in painful fashion
It's weird, actually, thinking about tennis being played on clay. If you haven't tried it, the clay makes playing tennis completely different than playing on concrete: you're slipping around everywhere as you try to execute the shots. If tennis were invented today, there's no way someone would say "Hey, let's play on a slippery surface, it'll be fun!"
Well, one ballboy at the Barcelona Open showed the hazards of ballboying on clay.

Also impressive, his stoic recovery after face-planting, pretending to be no worse for wear.
3. One child's unique Boston Marathon sign
The Boston Marathon was yesterday, and naturally, the route is lined with well-wishers from all locales for the marathon runners themselves. Inspirational signs fill the streets.
Here's one sign from one young fan:
