LOGAN — Two people from North Logan died in a traffic accident in Idaho Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred on US 30 near Lava Hot Springs, when a car traveling east crossed into westbound lanes, according to Idaho State Police.
The car that crossed lanes hit a car driven by 34-year-old Nyals Bodine of North Logan. Two passengers were riding in Bodine's car. One of them, 57-year-old Leah Tingey, and Bodine died at the scene.

The other passenger, 61-year-old Jeffrey Tingey, was taken to a hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
The 18-year-old driver of the other car was also taken to a hospital. No information was available on his condition.
