SANDY, Utah (AP) — Jamison Olave scored on a header in the 86th minute and Real Salt Lake beat the Seattle Sounders 2-1 on Saturday.

Real Salt Lake (1-0-1) has won five straight home games against Seattle (0-2-0). The Sounders have not won at RSL in league play since May 28, 2011.

Osvaldo Alonso opened the scoring in the 28th minute for Seattle. Joevin Jones crossed it into the box, Nelson Valdez forced a lunging save with a glancing touch and Nick Rimando's punch out fell to Alonso at the far post.

Sunny tied it in the 43rd after heading in Joao Plata's corner kick. Sunny separated from his defender, Clint Dempsey, and found the upper right corner of the goal.

Olave out-jumped goalkeeper Tyler Miller for the game-winner. Joao Plata sent a free kick wide of the goal, Juan Manuel Martinez tracked it down at the baseline and one-touched a cross in front of goal to find Olave's head.

Real Salt Lake improved to 5-0-7 in home openers.
