PROVO — A 22-year-old man was arrested after a search warrant led to the discovery of thousands of images of child pornography in his Provo apartment, police said.
Detectives working on the ongoing investigation served a search warrant at the Provo apartment of Jose Ramirez, 22, on Wednesday, Nov. 18, according to Provo police. More than 15,000 images and 75 videos of child pornography were located in the residence, police said.
Details about why the search warrant was served were not immediately available.
Ramirez was booked into the Utah County Jail in connection with 27 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, all second-degree felonies.
