SALT LAKE CITY — Each Tuesday we take a look back at the past week in news and events from across Utah, showcasing photos and videos submitted by KSL.com
The flash flooding and subsequent tragic deaths in Zion National Park and Hildale dominated local news this past week. But like so many times after severe storms in Utah, rainbows were spotted in many places across the state. Full-arch rainbows and even a few double rainbows were all the rage with iWitness users.
Speaking of weather, there's also no denying that summer is over in Utah and fall is creeping in. Many Utahns are enjoying fall colors and snow lovers rejoiced as mountain tops and some ski resorts saw a skiff a snow.
You also never know what surprises will pop up in our submissions. Keep your eyes peeled for a rogue wild turkey as you peruse the gallery.
