Birmingham, AL — If you know a woman in the Birmingham area who enjoys thinking about ridiculous hypotheticals, is physically active and knows the difference between Astronomy and Astrology, then you could have a shot at making $10,000.

After 12 months of interesting, dull and some bizarre dates, Ren You, 29-year-old Harvard graduate, is offering $10,000 to anyone who can find him a girlfriend.

According to his website, You, who moved to Birmingham last year after finishing grad school, has had a hard time finding a girlfriend and is now trying something new.

Anyone who introduces him to a girl who he dates for more than six months will receive $10,000.

"It's pretty simple." You says on his website. "I save a ton of time on finding romantic prospects and going on bad dates. You make a bunch of money for something you might have done for a friend, just for fun."

You acknowledges that this is weird, but says "look at it this way: if you work 12 hours/day, how would you want to spend the few waking hours you have left? Probably not standing around in a bar with your fingers crossed. This is way more fun for me."

The website includes basic information about You, including his favorite movies and TV shows (which included Tangled and Game of Thrones), his Myers-Briggs personality type and some photos of him to prove that he is not "a Nigerian prince, strong AI, or two midgets in a trenchcoat."

And just to clarify, no one he dates can claim the reward herself.

So if you think you know a girl who fits the bill, and want a chance to make $10,000, go to www.dateren.com and fill out the form at the bottom of the page and see what happens.
