OGDEN — A man was shot in a busy area of Ogden during the lunch hour Wednesday.
About 12:10 p.m., Ogden Police Lt. Danielle Croyle said multiple shots were fired in the area of 12th Street and Washington Boulevard. When police arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the head.
The man was conscious and alert and gave officers some information, she said.
"We have a report of a vehicle, a dark-colored SUV, that left the area," Croyle said.
It was not immediately known whether the victim was also in a car or was walking. He was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
