ROY — An 82-year-old man missing since Sunday afternoon has been found.
Roy police say John Thurgood was found Monday evening by two Union Pacific Railroad employees and was taken to an Ogden hospital in an unknown condition.
Thurgood suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, police said, and on a separate occasion left his home and was later found in Nevada without fuel, water or food and had “no recollection of where he was or how he got there.”
Concern for Thurgood's welfare prompted police to ask the public for help in finding him.
