SALT LAKE CITY — It's been nearly four months since former Davis High guard Jesse Wade wrapped up his high school career in the 5A boys basketball state tournament.

He's continuing to earn accolades all the way, even while serving an LDS Church mission in France.

Wade was one of 30 players in the country named to the Parade All-American list on Friday, complementing national player of the year and McDonald's All-American Luke Kennard of Ohio. Sky View graduate Lindsey Jensen was named to the Parade All-American girls list, as well.

Wade, who averaged 26.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a senior, finished his career as the top scorer in Davis High history, and his Darts fell within a missed half-court heave at the buzzer of advancing to the 5A state final in February.

The 6-foot-1 Wade will play at Gonzaga, with the KSL Game Night Live MVP set to enroll in 2017 following his mission.

Jensen led the Bobcats to an undefeated 25-0 record and the Class 4A state title in February, and she was named KSL's Game Night Live MVP after becoming one of the most dominant players in Utah girls basketball.

The do-everything Jensen, who will play at nearby Utah State, averaged 23.36 points, 5.76 rebounds, 3.48 steals and 1.96 assists per game as a senior for Sky View.
