Southern Utah with its beautiful landscape and myriad of activities attracts millions of visitors every year. At the heart of it all, there's Kanab.

Kanab is the center of a spectacular combination of world-famous landmarks and stunning spaces. In the middle of three national parks, two state parks, five national monuments, two national forests and a national recreation area, Kanab is magical for those who want an authentic, connective experience with the outdoors and genuine, down-to-earth people. So let's explore what it has to offer…Abra Kanabra!

Coral Pink Sand Dunes

Located southeast of Zion National Park and near the city of Kanab, these dunes make ATV riders rev their engines in joy.

Lake Powell

186 miles of beautiful blue water contrasted against walls of red rock. Add in sandy beaches and a houseboat and you won't want to leave.

  • San Juan County: Blanding's Annual 4th of July Celebration — Parade, free concert, vendor booths and games; fireworks and much more!
  • Flaming Gorge: Road biking and mountain biking trails abound in Flaming Gorge.
  • Salt Lake: The Utah Arts Festival (June 25-28) promotes the arts and enhances the quality of life in Utah through the production of an annual outdoor, multi-disciplinary arts event in downtown Salt Lake City.
  • Box Elder: Brigham City Heritage Arts Festival & Tour de Cure, June 13.

  • Carbon County's Lunatic Triathlon: Triathlon held at night (June 26 at 8pm) in the dark with many other family friendly activities.
  • Cedar City: Free American music festival (June 27-28) featuring top touring bands from across the country.
  • Bryce Canyon: Southern Utah's premier hot air balloon event (June 26-28) amazes crowds with dozens of balloons painting the sky with color—all framed by Bryce Canyon Country's celebrated red rock landscape.
  • Moab: Cross three mountain passes at or above 11,000 ft. and finish on beautiful slickrock.
  • Bear Lake: Golf, cool blue water, boating and more.
  • Heber Valley: A place so hidden, yet in the center of so much. This is Heber Valley.
  • Uintah County: 3rd Annual Paddle Fest at Red Fleet State Park (June 19th and 20th). Races, bands, free boat demos, homemade water craft contest, races, prizes and fireworks!
