SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a bank Tuesday morning.

The robbery occurred at the Brighton Bank at 93 W. 3300 South around 10 a.m., according to South Salt Lake police. A man entered the bank and showed the bank teller a note demanding cash. The man also told the teller he was armed with a gun, but no weapon was displayed, police said.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound toward Main Street, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber was described as a white male between the age 35 and 40 years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing glasses, a gray long-sleeved shirt and a black baseball cap with a white emblem.
