NORTH OGDEN — Police are asking for help to identify the man who allegedly robbed a credit union in North Ogden on Monday.

The man fled the Weber State Credit Union, 2388 N. 400 East, with an undisclosed amount of cash at about 3:58 p.m., according to the North Ogden Police Department. He allegedly demanded money from a teller using a note, which claimed he had a bomb and a gun.

After obtaining the cash, the man was observed heading west into a neighboring apartment complex across 400 East, according to police.

Investigators described the man as being “a light skinned Caucasian or Hispanic male in his mid to late twenties.” At the time of the robbery, he was wearing an olive colored T-shirt with a long-sleeved black undershirt and khaki shorts with a khaki fishing hat and sunglasses. He also had a thin beard.

About an hour before the robbery, the same man was observed in the credit union, according to police.

Anyone with information about the man or robbery can call Weber Consolidated Dispatch at 801-629-8221.
