SALT LAKE CITY — A few days ago, you probably heard the story and saw the photos of a guy wearing a goat suit near a real goat herd near Ben Lomond Peak above Ogden.
Wildlife officials said the person wasn't doing anything illegal, but were concerned for their safety. The Identify of the so-called "goat man" is still a mystery.
Sunday, KSL learned of a copy cat, sort of. This time, it was a guy wearing a hot dog outfit and wandering around the same area. But, this guy has ID'd himself. He's Tim Sessions. Tim and his friend Matt Tribe, who snapped the photos, said they were just having some fun.
Sessions, who works for a company that provides social media consulting to TV and radio stations, said that he was fascinated by the goat man and wanted to meet him. They loaded up their car and went out to where they thought he would be in order to find him him and perhaps see if he's serious, or a prankster like them.

A man spotted dressed in a goat suit among a herd of wild goats in the mountains of northern Utah has wildlife officials worried he could be in danger as hunting season approaches.After little luck finding the goat man, Sessions said he realized he had his hot dog suit in the back of his car, and decided to put it on and snap a few photos to parody the now nationally-known story.
"We like to have fun, so if he's someone like us , maybe we can pull a few pranks together," sessions said.
"I want to go hiking, because I bet he's a pretty experienced hiker, living with the billygoats," Tribe said.
So "goat man", meet "hot dog man." For anyone hiking in the mountains above Ogden, take your camera: You never know what kind of weird things you might see.
