THE BARNYARD — According to the pollen count, spring has sprung.
And as everyone who has seen 1971’s “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” knows, “In springtime, the only pretty ring time, birds singe a-ding. A-dinga dinga sweet lovers love the spring.
For one barnyard visitor, “sweet lovers love the spring,” isn’t about romantic love. Instead, it’s about a wholesome and pure love for tiny, sweet baby goats.
In this aww-worthy video, a man is surrounded by spring-born goats and alpacas at the Foy Farm in New Braunfels, Texas. Sure it’s cute, but not special for the internet. What turns the aww factor up to 11 is this man’s uncontainable love for all creatures great and small. Meaning, he patiently plucks kids from the mob one-by-one to give them tender, unrushed hugs.
This must be a regular occurrence at Foy Farm because the kids definitely look like they’re asking to be picked up and held, even if it’s just for a few seconds.
Now, if you’re worried and upset that the alpaca got no love before it walked out of frame, you’re not alone. Indeed, many commented on Facebook and other forums, demanding the alpaca get his fair share of affection.
As it turns out, the sweet fella is named Cotton, and if this picture is proof enough, Cotton definitely gets his share of hugs too.
