WOODS CROSS — A man was transported to a hospital in critical condition after a fire broke out inside a home Monday night, officials said.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a fire at 1375 S. 1100 West about 9 p.m., according to Bountiful emergency dispatch.

Details about how the fire began weren't immediately known. Fire officials said a man trapped inside the home at the time of the fire was critically injured. The man's name and age weren't immediately released.
Officials added the home was full of objects, which made getting to the man difficult.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
