LOGAN — The Utah State Aggies played their last regular season game of the year against the 1-10 Idaho Vandals. If the Aggies could finish of the Vandals USU would claim the outright WAC Championship. It wasn't much of an issue for the Aggies to take the win.

It didn't take long for USU to get onto the board thanks to star QB Chuckie Keeton.

"Keeton hits Williams from 19 yards to give USU the 7-0 lead with 9:42 left to play in the first quarter," tweeted @aggieradio.

By the end of the first the Aggies led 14-0 on Senior Day and Keeton had one TD through the air and another on the ground. While Keeton had a bit of a slow day statistically with 133 yards through the air and two TD's accompanied with two INT's, he'll still made the plays he needed to to help the Aggies win big.

"USU made it look easy there. A 52 yard run by Williams sets the Aggies up 1st-and-goal. Keeton with the TD pass. 28-9 lead for USUnow," tweeted @JohnCoonSports.

"Add 14 more and another TD! Kerwynn Williams with another touchdown for #USU," tweeted @efrandsen.

Williams had 110 on the ground on 17 carries and one touchdown. Not bad numbers, but he and Keeton both struggled at times. It was the defense that stepped up huge for USU.

"Utah State has yet to mount a drive over 50-yards for a score on Idaho's defense. All 21 USU points off of turnovers," tweeted @VandalNation.

The Aggie D forced four turnovers, one fumble and three interceptions.

USU rolled to their 10th win of the season and the outright WAC Championship with ease on Saturday and Aggie Nation is ecstatic.

"For the first time since 1936, your Utah State Aggies are outright CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS! This is the first 10-win season in USU history," tweeted @USUFootball.

"RomneyStadium is rockin! #UtahState will win the #WAC title, leading #Idaho 45-9. First 10-win season ever for #Utags," tweeted @ESPNCFB.

The Utah State Aggies have completed one of the best, if not the best, season in their history and they are headed back to the Idaho Potato Bowl where they lost to the Ohio Bobcats last year.
