The East High Leopards lost the 6A title game to Bingham, but the defeat shouldn't weigh them down. East football is now playing in 6A for the first time ever and still managed to win double digit games. East previously won the last two titles in 4A.

Lolani Langi returned a fumble 47 yards for a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half, and Wissler and Amoni Kaili combined for 77 yards and a touchdown to help Bingham to a 27-14 win over East in the Class 6A state championship Friday.

Orem wins 4A title over Mountain Crest, 26-0

Orem dominated Mountain Crest to win their first 4A state title in 23 years. The Tigers' defense was stout, shutting out Mountain Crest for the first time all season. Orem's Puka Nacua tied the state record for touchdown receptions in this game (24).
