GREENWICH, Conn. — The most expensive home currently listed in the United States is a $190 million waterfront estate in Greenwich, Conn., about 30 miles northeast of New York City.

A 12-bedroom Victorian French Renaissance mansion sits on 50.5 acres and includes 4,000 feet of water frontage along Long Island Sound and two offshore islands, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The second-highest priced home in the U.S. is thought to be a $135 million estate in Dallas.

Check out the photo gallery for a look at the house. Here are five other ways to spend $190 million, if you're so inclined:

Make "Star Trek into Darkness"

The sequel to "Star Trek" cost a reported $190 million to make. When "Star Trek Into Darkness" moved into first place at the box office Friday, it pushed Iron Man 3 out of the top spot for the first time since the superhero movie opened 15 days ago.

For $190 million, you could make a movie that would hopefully pay for itself in ticket sales.

Pay the lottery winnings of the two people who bought the winning Mega Millions tickets

Two people bought winning tickets to Friday's $190 million Mega Millions drawing.

A winner in New Jersey and one in Virginia, neither of whom have come forward, will split the money.

The drawing came a day before the Powerball drawing for $590.5 million, the largest jackpot in the history of Powerball.

Pay for the University of Missouri's health care expansion

The University of Missouri opened an expansion in late April for the University Hospital in Columbia.

The 310,500 square foot expansion includes a patient care tower and a replacement facility for the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, the oldest cancer center west of the Mississippi River. It was designed to provide upscale medical facilities to patients and to "support the delivery of patient- and family-centered care; advanced translational research and education; provide flexibility for growth of the university's health science campus; and foster greater collaboration."

Deliver medicine in Australia for a year

For $190 million, you could deliver medicines listed on Australia's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme — including cholesterol, antibiotics and asthma medication — anywhere in Australia for a year.

Five wholesalers are paid a combined $190 million a year such medicines anywhere in Australia within 24 hours of being ordered by one of 5000 community pharmacies.

Without more money from the Australian government, though, delivery times are set to slow. API, a wholesaler that supplies medication to 90 percent of Australian pharmacies, has said "trade-offs" will be necessary if the government does not increase funding by 2015.

Pay the private cost of the Kings' new arena

Part of the deal that left the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento and the Maloofs without an NBA team was that the buyers would put $190 million toward the cost of a new arena for the team.

The sale of the team for $535 million to a group led by tech entrepreneur Vivek Ranadive included a condition that the group would put $190 million toward a new arena. The rest of the projected $448 million cost of the arena is to be covered by the City of Sacramento.
