DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Pablo Rivas scored 15 points off the bench and North Carolina Central rolled to 77-49 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday afternoon, snapping a three-game slide.

Rivas also led with nine rebounds for the Eagles (13-13, 7-5 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Reginald Gardner Jr. added 14 points and John Guerra had 13.

NCCU shot 50 percent from the field compared to 31.5 percent for Eastern Shore and had a 43-31 rebounding advantage.

The Eagles led by five at the break and opened the second half on a 20-7 run with the help of 3-pointers by Guerra, Gardner and Zacarry Douglas to take a 53-35 advantage with 12:41 to play. Eastern Shore got as close as 66-49 with 4:03 remaining but didn't score again.

Ahmad Frost scored 18 points for the Hawks (6-22, 2-11) who have lost three straight.
