CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) — Cole Murray scored 26 points with the help of eight 3-pointers as Northern Kentucky cruised by Southeast Missouri State 80-66 on Saturday.

Murray was 8 of 11 from the field — all from beyond the arc — and sank both of his free throws for the Norse (7-3) who have won four straight. Lavone Holland II added 19 points including three 3-pointers. Murray and Holland helped the team average 46.4 percent shooting from 3-point range and 49 percent from the field overall.

Murray's sixth 3-pointer gave the Norse a 37-30 lead with 5:40 to go in the first half and they stretched it to 45-33 at the break.

The Redhawks (4-6) closed to within 10, 58-48, midway through the second period but could not get closer and the Norse cruised from there.

Antonius Cleveland had 16 points with six rebounds for the Redhawks who have lost their last three.
