ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Ashton Hagans silenced a hostile crowd by scoring a season-high 23 points, leading No. 12 Kentucky to a 69-49 victory over Georgia. The Wildcats pulled away in the second half for their third straight victory. Hagans is a freshman who initially committed to Georgia out of high school but wound up signing with Kentucky. He was booed by the sellout crowd at Stegeman Coliseum each time he touched the ball.

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Tremont Waters scored 20 points, Kavell Bigby-Williams had 14 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, and LSU beat No. 18 Mississippi 83-69. LSU used an early 8-0 run in the second half to take a 48-39 lead. The Tigers maintained a healthy advantage from that point, playing tight defense and forcing several turnovers. Waters also had nine assists, and Skylar Mays scored 14 points. LSU has won six straight.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Lamonte' Turner and Jordan Bowden combined to score 40 points off the bench, and No. 3 Tennessee whipped Arkansas 106-87 for its 11th consecutive victory. Turner scored 21 points and hit 6 of 8 shots. Bowden was 6-of-7 shooting and 5 of 6 from 3-point range en route to 19 points, and Tennessee's bench outscored Arkansas' 50-23.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Quinndary Weatherspoon converted a three-point play with 3.4 seconds left to lift No. 24 Mississippi State over Florida 71-68. Weatherspoon drove the lane and was fouled by Kevarrius Hayes while sinking the winning layup. Weatherspoon finished with nine points. Lamar Peters scored all 16 of his points in the first half, and Tyson Carter added 12 for Mississippi State.

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Georgia coach Joni Taylor is due to give birth next month. That hasn't slowed her down as she continues to vigorously roam the sidelines with her Lady Bulldogs and run 8-minute miles in her workouts. Taylor hopes to give birth in February and be back on the bench for senior night and Georgia's postseason run.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Former SMU quarterback Ben Hicks will play his final year at Arkansas. Hicks made the announcement on Twitter. He will reunite with Arkansas coach Chad Morris and coordinator Joe Craddock, who recruited him to SMU in 2015. Hicks is SMU's all-time passing leader with 9,081 yards and 71 touchdown passes
