DENVER (AP) — The Cincinnati Reds reinstated right-hander Jon Moscot from the 15-day disabled list, and was to start Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies.

Moscot was sidelined by inflammation in his non-pitching shoulder. He's 0-2 with a 4.02 ERA this season. The Reds also placed righty Caleb Cotham on the DL with a sore shoulder in a move that was retroactive to Sunday.

Just before the game, Cincinnati scratched second baseman Brandon Phillips from the starting lineup because of a sore left foot. Phillips hurt his foot Sunday in Milwaukee when he slid into the first base wall and left Monday's game late during a win over the Rockies.

Jordan Pacheco was to take his place at second.
