MILWAUKEE (AP) — Los Angeles Angels starter Garrett Richards says he will be re-evaluated on Thursday to determine whether he can make his next start after dealing with fatigue.

Richards only went four innings in his start on Sunday against Texas because of dehydration and cramping.

Richards said after the Angels' 7-3 win on Wednesday in Milwaukee that while he wasn't hurt, he was not feeling 100 percent.

After an off day, Richards is scheduled to open a three-game series against Tampa when the Angels return home on Friday.

Manager Mike Scioscia said before Wednesday's game that he had a contingency plan in case Richards can't go.

Richards says trainers have him on lots of fluids. He is 1-3 with a 2.34 ERA.
